Simon Pringle
Simon is an experienced company director and consultant with over 15 years
experience in developing businesses and managing organisations through periods of
rapid change. His technical experience is focused upon sustainability, energy and
corporate resonsibility.
Simon was educated at Durham University and Imperial College, London and started his
career in 1993 with an Anglo-American environmental consultancy practice. From 2001,
Simon served for more than six years on the UK and Global boards of one of the largest
energy and environment consultancies in the world. He developed a market leading due
diligence practice and launched the first risk transfer offering in the UK market. In
addition to capacity building and leadership, Simon has considerable experience in
acquisition, integration and organisational development.
Latterly Simon acted as Partner, Sustainable Business Practice at a change management
consultancy that has earned an enviable reputation for delivering some of the largest
and most successful business transformation programmes in corporate history.
Simon serves as a non-executive advisor on business and environmental matters to
Spada, a multiple award winning PR and communication consultancy. He is a non-exec
Director of two micro-wind technology businesses and Trustee of the low carbon charity
Leapfrog. He has also sat on the advisory panels for the UK Environmental Industries
Commission and PLC Environment, a legal publication.
Simon has won a number of industry awards, most recently the 2008 Management
Consultancy Association award for Corporate Responsibility and Environmental Advisor
of the Year in the 2007 Acquisitions Monthly Awards.
