Wayne Currie
Wayne has a 25 year track record of delivering sustainable outcomes in international
blue chip industrial companies. He has combined this with a successful career at Global
Director level in international environment and energy consultancy.
Wayne has led cultural change programmes at organisational level and brought many
new products and service streams to the global market. He has also used behavioural
change processes and integrated management systems to help high hazard global
businesses to improve HSE performance to amongst best in class. Latterly, Wayne has
successfully led and implemented structural change processes to help organisations
maximise their global capacity.
Wayne has broad expertise in major international mergers, acquisitions and disposals, as
well as an in-depth experience of business integration, organisational and re-structuring.
Alongside this, Wayne has considerable experience in liability assessment, risk
management, risk transfer, corporate affairs and governance.
Qualified with a Master of Arts Degree with distinction in Health and Safety Law and
Environmental Law from Salford University, Wayne is also a Chartered Member of the
Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
Wayne has chaired the UK Chemical Industries Association’s (CIA) Management Systems
Advisory Group, sat on the CIA Responsible Care Board, the Confederation of British
Industry (CBI) UK Directors Health and Safety Steering Group, and the CBI East Midlands
Environmental Panel.
